Born in Cuneo, Italy, in 1963, he graduated in economics and commerce in Turin and later in law in Milan with a thesis in commercial law with supervisor Professor Pier Giusto Jaeger. He is a member of the Order of Certified Public Accountants, Accounting Experts, and the Register of Statutory Auditors. He took a postgraduate course in international taxation.
In 1989 he joined Studio Spada partners in Milan, where he is currently managing partner. As part of his profession, he has had the opportunity to develop specific skills in M&A and tax and corporate matters, with a particular focus on assisting in transactions developed by private equity funds.
He has held numerous positions in medium- and large-sized, listed, and unlisted industrial, luxury, banking, and financial companies. A single father of a 20-year-old son, he has lived in Milan for a long time now although, as soon as he can, he loves to unplug, returning to his Langhe region or to Venice, a city to which he is linked by a special relationship, also by virtue of his passion for art.
He is a connoisseur and collector of contemporary art, and the studio is present as a donor to the Italian Pavilion at the International Art Exhibition of the Venice Biennale. He loves to travel and feels very close to Indian culture, especially its deep spirituality. Each trip becomes an opportunity to bring back testimonies and objects from the countries visited that, beyond their value, represent an essential point of contact with the roots of those lands.
