Giuseppe Marino

Married with two children, Giuseppe Marino is an avid sailor, so much so that he has participated in numerous Atlantic regattas.
He graduated in Business Administration from Bocconi University in 1988 and Law from the University of Milan in 1992 and later attended a Postgraduate Course in Business Tax Law at Bocconi.
In 1989, he was appointed researcher at the International Bureau of Fiscal Documentation (IBFD) in Amsterdam. He returned to Italy in 1993 and received his Ph.D. in International and Comparative Tax Law in 1997 from the University of Genoa.
Since 2001, Avvocato Marino has been an Italian and European Tax Law Professor at the University of Milan. He has also been Visiting Professor at NYU School of Law, Pantheon-Sorbonne University, and Meiji University in Tokyo. A member of the editorial board of several tax journals, he authorizes articles and essays on the subject.
Attorney Marino is also a Confindustria delegate to the Tax Commission of the Business Industry Advisory Board (BIAC) at the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), Paris, and a Deputy Member of the European Association of Tax Law Professors (EATLP), as well as a Partner in the Marino Ballancin Barbagelata Associati firm.
