Claudio Giordano is a founding partner of Nunziante Magrone and coordinates its tax department. He focuses on corporate, domestic, EU, and international tax law. He has gained significant experience in transfer pricing, permanent establishment, and tax planning in the context of acquisition and reorganization transactions.
Assists family businesses in structuring corporate governance with a view to generational continuity. He also deals with succession planning from the perspective of protecting family assets. He helps concerning VAT issues related to international trade and promotes a European study group involving VAT experts from independent law firms in the various member states.
An advocate before the Supreme Court, he has extensive experience in tax litigation. He is also a board member and treasurer of the International fiscal association – Italian section and a member of the International Bar association. He is a nonoperating member of the board of directors.
He lectures at the Luiss business school in Rome as part of the master’s degree in tax law, accounting, and tax planning and at the Scuola superiore dell’avvocatura – cassazionisti section – Cnf Foundation as part of the preparatory course for registration in the special register for advocacy before higher courts.
Married with two children, in the next life, he will be an Olympic swimmer or a champion alpine skier, both disciplines he now practices with poor results but having much fun.
