A law graduate from the University of Milan and lawyer. After significant experience gained in Italy as a compliance officer and expert in civil and corporate law within major international corporations, in 2006, she moved to Switzerland with her family, where she obtained a Cas (Certificate of advanced studies) in international taxation at the University of Applied Sciences of Southern Switzerland (Supsi) and where she gained a professional approach to the world of trusts and charitable foundations.
With more than a decade of experience in structuring, protecting, and transmitting family assets and preventing legal and reputational risks, he holds the qualification of Trust and estate practitioner (Tep). He is a member of the Society of trust and estate practitioners (Step), a professional association that brings together worldwide professionals and consultants specializing in estate and inheritance planning.
He currently serves as head of legal & compliance at the professional trust company Capital Trustees AG with offices in Zurich and Lugano, a particularly challenging reality thanks to the Swiss legal and regulatory environment, which is witnessing the birth of a local law on trusts and has recently introduced, among the few in Europe, a rule subjecting trust companies to prudential supervision by the Federal Authority. Given his professional background, he serves a key function in his company, aimed at pursuing a high standard of best practice and ensuring efficient and systematic risk management. This activity is increasingly central to the management of a trust company.
In his spare time, he devotes himself to his family and his son, now a teenager. His hobbies include gardening and long walks with views of the beautiful Swiss landscapes.
