He is a registered lawyer, certified public accountant, and certified public accountant. After degrees in business and economics, and law, he earned a master’s degree in international taxation from Bocconi University.
With experience accumulated between the 1990s and the first decade of the 21st century in extraordinary cross-border transactions, he focused on issues related to the internationalization of Italian companies and on issues more typically associated with family businesses: generational transition, protection of related assets, tax planning, governance, which allowed him to gain in-depth experience in the use of instruments such as trusts, the family holding companies, and private foundations.
Having successfully assisted internationally renowned artists in establishing and managing their foundations, he has also gained valuable experience in the art world (and market). Today, a significant part of his work is dedicated to assisting collectors, art dealers, gallery owners, and museums, both Italian and non-Italian.
His daily goal is to offer integrated multidisciplinary advice that keeps sight of the client’s wishes while ensuring legal effectiveness and tax efficiency. A lecturer at Il Sole 24 Ore Business School and a speaker at numerous seminars and conferences on tax and estate planning and trusts, he has published multiple articles on international taxation.
A member of the company law committee of Milan Odcec, he is now a partner at Boies Schiller Flexner Italy.
He has an overwhelming passion for seas and oceans; he spends the time he is not working underwater.
