Co-directs with partner Anne Morel, the litigation/commercial/real estate/IT-IP department at BSP, where he handles litigation and arbitration in the corporate, commercial, and financial areas. He also has particular experience in the real estate sector and the context of restructuring and insolvency proceedings.
Arriving in Luxembourg in the 1970s, he grew up in a country that has welcomed and continues to welcome many cultures. He attended the European School, which on the one hand offers an education based on the cultural roots of origin, and on the other is able to transmit and make synergistic all European cultural sensitivities.
He graduated in Law from the University of Milan (1990), and after a period of internship in one of the prominent Italian firms in Brussels, he obtained a Master’s degree in Comparative Jurisprudence in New York at New York University (1992). After admission to the New York Bar, in which he is still a member, and after completing his legal training in Luxembourg, he was admitted to the Bar first as Avocat in 1993, then as Avocat à la Cour in 1995.
A member of the Bar Council from 2004 to 2005 and from 2009 to 2011, he has been practicing Law in the Grand Duchy for 25 years. Fabio launched BSP’s Italian desk several years ago, inspired by his Italian roots. He leads, in fact, a team of Italian professionals whose goal is to offer general advice to Italian clients in Luxembourg or Luxembourgers interested in Italy. The Italian desk is a cross-functional team operating in different practice areas supporting clients in Italian and profoundly understanding the Italian cultural context.
Its free time is devoted to skiing, boating, and travel, in addition to the family.
