Diego De Francesco

A graduate of business economics from Bocconi University in Milan, a certified public accountant and auditor, he has always dealt with tax issues, with specific reference to M&A and private equity transactions, within which he has taken care of aspects related to company taxation (extraordinary transactions, financing), taxation of individuals (incentive packs for managers, carried interest) and taxation of company shareholders (successions, generational transition).

He works mainly with entrepreneurial families, private equity funds, and private bankers, assisting them in structuring and implementing extraordinary corporate transactions based on a strong fiduciary relationship, a constant in his professional relationships.

His practice has developed within large international law firms. Today he coordinates the tax "practice" of the Gitti and Partners law firm. He collaborates with the European association of private equity operators (Evca) the Italian one (Aifi), and Ifa (International fiscal association)

Married with a 12-year-old son, he mainly reads essays and historical novels in his spare time. He loves the sea, swimming, and diving but does not disdain the mountains in summer and winter.
