Italian Design Brands announced that it had started the ipo process aimed at listing on Euronext Milan (formerly Aim), STAR Segment (high requirements securities segment). As part of the transaction, IDB has appointed Citigroup and Equita as joint global coordinator and joint bookrunner. Equita will also act as a sponsor.
Subject to market conditions and obtaining the necessary regulatory approvals, the company expects to complete the process by the first half of 2023. The transaction’s proceeds will allow the company to continue accelerating the growth path that Italian Design Brands has been on since its founding. The group aims for organic growth of the current group companies, focusing on international markets. Among the objectives resulting from the listing is also the desire to implement intensive mergers and acquisitions activity in the high-end furniture and design sector.
