A graduate of the Faculty of Law of the La Sapienza University of Rome, she has pursued a professional career in prestigious national and international firms since the beginning of her academic studies.
A labor lawyer with twenty years of experience in labor law and industrial relations, she began her career in crucial Italian law firms and then continued at EY in 2002, where she specialized in labor and union law, arriving at the head of the labor law and industrial relations department. She also held the role of EY of Mediterranean regional account leader.
Always an advocate of equal opportunities in the workplace, having also held the position in EY of talent leader, she was one of the first women in Italy at the top of an international tax & law firm. Since 2019 she has been managing partner of EY’s tax&law area in Italy. She currently coordinates a team of more than 600 professionals working in seven offices across the country, covering numerous practices.
She puts her consolidated experience and high expertise to work every day alongside the most important Italian and international firms. A member of the European Association of Employment Lawyers, the Italian Association of Employment Lawyers, and the board of directors of the American chambers of commerce in Italy, she is the author of relevant publications and articles in the field of labor law as well as a speaker at national and international conventions and conferences.
Sofia and Davide’s mother are passionate about sports, particularly handball and horseback riding, as well as art and culture in general: during her free time, she enjoys traveling, visiting exhibitions and museums with her family, and reading.
