He is an attorney and partner at the law and tax firm Dla Piper, where he chairs the client committee and is a member of the international tax committee. He specializes in international taxation, tax litigation (following assignments ranging from tax audit assistance to trial defense), wealth planning, and criminal tax law.
Before joining Dla Piper, he was counsel for a leading international law firm after serving several years as an officer in the Guardia di Finanza, constantly dealing with tax and criminal-tax issues.
He regularly contributes to leading national newspapers and journals of Italian and international doctrine. He is a Ph.D. (Ph.D.) and adjunct professor of tax law, coordinator of the scientific committee of Step Italy (Society of trust and estate practitioners), and member of the scientific committee of Corriere Tributario magazine.
A graduate cum laude in law from the University of Rome “Tor Vergata,” he also holds a bachelor’s degree in economic-financial sciences and political science from the University of Trieste. He is a court-appointed lawyer.
