Nicola Alvaro is the chief legal & wealth structuring officer at Generali Luxembourg and leads a team of lawyers and insurance & wealth planning experts internationally. He has a double degree in Law, with a specialization in International Business Law, as well as in Business Administration, and perfected his studies with a Master’s degree in Law and Business at the Sole 24 Ore Business School in addition to having attended the first master’s degree in transmission and wealth management organized by Step Italy (The society of trust and estate practitioners).
Licensed to practice as a lawyer in Italy and Spain, Nicola specializes in asset protection, transmission and insurance, and financial and tax law. A specialization that he has gained through his experience with leading Italian law firms but especially with several wealth management (Lombard international assurance) and financial/insurance practitioners (including Consultinvest and Atradius)
A speaker at conferences, and lecturer at masters and courses on wealth management, Nicola Alvaro is the author of articles published in books and specialized journals. He is a full-step member (Tep) and, since 2013, has directed his attention and interdisciplinary background to developing private insurance as an estate and succession planning tool.
He devotes his spare time to his Discus and to “customizing” his Harley-Davidson (he is a member of the Hog Luxembourg Chapter).
