Graduated in economics and commerce with 110 cum laude from La Sapienza University of Rome in 1991, holds a master’s degree in auditing from the Business school of Luiss Guido Carli University in Rome.
A registered legal auditor and chartered accountant in Rome, he is the founder and managing partner of Gim Legal Sta S.r.l., a law firm with offices in Rome and Milan.
Thanks to the significant experience gained at Consob and at leading international law firms where he coordinated the financial services, fund regulation, and banking practices, he is an experienced professional in financial market law and economic regulation for assistance in Italy and cross-border, in the context of projects carried out by investment banks, investment funds, gefia, sgr and sicaf, sicavs, sims, distribution networks of financial and insurance products, financial companies, listed companies, securitization companies, payment institutions and other entities operating in the financial sector.
He has a great passion for teaching; since graduating with a degree in economics and business, he has been a lecturer in numerous economic and financial disciplines for several years. Today he is an adjunct professor at the Business school of the Luiss Guido Carli University in Rome, where he teaches the master’s courses “law and finance” and “real estate finance.”
Author of numerous books and articles on financial markets and regulation, such as “Guide to Mini Bonds. Innovative Tools for SME Finance” and “Alternative Investment Managers and Funds. The new features introduced by the Aifmd,” and has been repeatedly involved as a speaker in the most important events, seminars and in-depth meetings in the industry.
Married with two children, he is an avid sports fan (soccer, skiing, tennis, athletics), loves traveling, and is always keen on changes and innovations.
