Expert in private equity transactions, corporate finance, generational transition, and legal and tax profiles of private banking. A graduate of Bocconi University with top honors, he carries out an intense publishing activity and is a scientific coordinator and lecturer of several masters of the Business School of Il Sole24Ore in legal and financial subjects. He also collaborates with Bocconi University for the Extraordinary Transactions and Special Financial Statement Topics course.
In 2006 he founded the firm that bears his name, a leading reality in Italy on family and business discontinuity. He has built his career to be the reference interlocutor of the life cycle of Italian family capitalism, overcoming the traditional distinction between lawyer and accountant and cutting across specializations in the different legal and tax practices lent to discontinuity.
He is a member of the Tax and legal committee in Aifi and the firm’s representative in Elite and Aipb, of which, since 2013, he has been a member of the Board of Arbitrators as well as coordinator of the “Private Entrepreneurs” working group.
In 2014 he was honored with Alberto Russo as the founder of the “Firm of the Year in Tax Consulting” at the Tax & Finance Awards. In 2015 he was awarded the personal recognition of “Professional of the Year in Tax Consulting.” In 2016 he received the “Firm of the Year best practice voluntary disclosure” award. In 2017 he won at Legalcommunity’s Tax Awards in the “Tax Private Equity Professional of the Year” category and at the Top Legal Industry Awards in the “Investment Funds Professional of the Year” category. In 2019, as part of the Legalcommunity Tax Awards, he won the category “Best practice private clients & wealth management” and “Tax m&a professional of the year” at the Legalcommunity Corporate Awards. In 2020, he won Best private equity practice at the Legalcommunity Tax Awards.
For the third year in a row, he was included by Legalcommunity in the Best 50 Italian Lawyers list.
