Half Venetian and half Lombard, a cessationist lawyer, he has been a partner at Bernoni Grant Thornton since 2022 and serves as head of legal. After an initial career at a leading Milan law firm in civil and commercial law, he founded his firm also in Milan and then joined Bernoni Grant Thornton, where he heads the legal department. His areas of specialization include civil law, succession and family law, commercial and corporate law, M&A, and real estate transactions.
A graduate of the G. Parini classical high school in Milan and a law graduate with the highest honors from the University of Milan, he passed the state exam by ranking first in his own Court of Appeals.
He served in the military as commanding officer of the Officer Cadet Section at the Guardia di Finanza Academy in Bergamo, from which he was discharged with commendation.
He also served for years as an assistant professor of civil law at the University of Milan.
Married and father of two beloved children in their early teens, he struggles with their mood storms every day, but he will make it out safely. He is an excellent competitive basketball player (shooting guard wing), an activity from which he still does not give up; he is also a devotee of mountains, literature, and classical music.
