Roberta Crivellaro was the first Italian woman to become a partner in a city firm in London, and to this day, she is one of the very few managing partners of structured Italian firms. With a job that has always taken her to spend long periods abroad, she loves to cook healthy food for herself and her children in her spare time.

In her spare time to relax, Roberta Crivellaro loves to cook healthy foods for herself and her children and is a great advocate of the Mediterranean diet, especially during long periods spent abroad for work.

A passionate advocate of equal opportunities for women in the workplace, particularly within the legal profession, she was the first Italian woman to become a partner in a city firm in London. Today she is one of the very few managing partners of structured Italian firms.

When she began studying law at the University of Padua, Roberta Crivellaro knew she wanted to become an international lawyer specializing in cross-border corporate and real estate matters.

Immediately after proclaiming her degree, she left for London in 1991 to undertake her legal practice. In 1999, she began working at Giordano & Partners law office and, in 2001, became London Resident Partner at LCA London (now CBA).

In 2009, she returned to Italy to open a Milan branch of the firm Withers, where to this day, she is a partner in the corporate team in Milan and Padua, European leader of the Business Division, managing partner of the Italian practice, and head of the ‘Italian Desks’ worldwide.

Highly knowledgeable in Italian and foreign law, Crivellaro is an expert in cross-border corporate, commercial, and real estate transactions, particularly transactions in which one of the two parties is a family office.

Over the course of her career, she has received many awards: in 2010, she was listed among the top “100 Women of Excellence in Italy” by Elle magazine; in 2011 she was named “Woman Lawyer of the Year” by Toplegal; in 2012 she was cited among Italy’s 50 top women managers by A magazine; between 2014 and 2016 was listed as a Recommended Lawyer by Legal500 EMEA; and finally, in 2014, the Italian practice she leads was awarded ‘Best Place to Work’ by Toplegal.
