Luigi Garavaglia
"It is not enough to take steps that will one day lead us to a purpose; each step must itself be a purpose at the same time that it leads us forward" (Johann W. Goethe)
About
Born in Milan in 1960, he graduated in economics and commerce in 1985 from the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Milan and has been a member of the Milan Register of Chartered Accountants and Accounting Experts since 1990 and an auditor since 1995, now a statutory auditor.
He has been practicing at Biscozzi Nobili Law and Tax Firm (now Biscozzi Nobili Piazza) since 1989 as a partner in 1997.
For years he has been involved in advising on international tax matters, helping companies to better organize and structure their business, especially in times of change, development of new domestic and international markets, and searching for financial and industrial partners for the global development of the company's business, and introductions of external managers in companies facing a different managerial organization.
He has been involved in several merger and divestment projects of companies and followed the listing process for some companies listed on the Milan Stock Exchange. He has been called upon to deal (also as an arbitrator) with the composition of family interests of several medium- and large-sized business families. In addition, he works alongside several entrepreneurs to facilitate the generational transition and ensure the company's development over time.
A father of three children, he spends his free time with his family, sharing his passion for the sea with his wife; with her, he loves walking around Milan and discovering new glimpses of the city. Reading and cult movies are a way to relax after busy days engaged in work he is passionate about.
