About

A graduate of the Ecole Nationale des Impôts in 1983, he received a specialized higher education degree (dess) in banking and finance from the Pantheon-Sorbonne University in 1982 and a master's degree in sciences economiques, option economique publique et politique economique from the same institution in 1981.

He began his career as an auditor at the Direction de la vérification nationale et internationale (Dvni). In 1988 he joined Pechiney and then became head of fiscal management for Europe, Asia, and South America at Schlumberger Industries.

In 1995 he joined Caisse Nationale of Crédit Agricole and then joined Bnp Paribas as an international tax manager. He has been a member of the Paris Bar since 1996 and has worked at the law firms Salans, Lovells (now Hogan Lovells), and Holman Fenwick Willan. He joined the Paris office of Dla Piper in 2014 and then Cabinet Bornhauser in 2017. In parallel, he was an associate professor of tax law at the University of Paris-Nanterre. Today he is a partner and head of the tax team at Dumon Partners.

He has been involved for more than 25 years in the tax structuring of French and international transactions, particularly M&A and securitization activities. He advises investment funds, corporations, and directors in the finance, insurance, aviation, real estate, shipping, and energy sectors. Finally, he assists companies, managers, and investors in tax audits and litigation proceedings.

He devotes much time to sports, particularly boxing and tennis. And to his two sons, ages 20 and 16.
