He graduated in economics and legislation for business from Bocconi University in 1999, with a thesis on “The propensity for listing induced by financial market change,” he holds a master’s degree in corporate auditing & sector financial statements auditing. A member of the Milan Bar, he was the coordinator of the expatriate group of the International Taxation Committee of the Order of Chartered Accountants.
On June 14, 1999, he joined Bernoni Grant Thornton, a member firm of Grant Thornton International Ltd. A partner since 2006, he chairs the business process solutions practice and is a member of the firm’s board of directors and GT Italy management team.
He has gained extensive experience assisting multinational companies on domestic and international consulting issues and has had the opportunity to deal with many foreign stakeholders, obtaining different points of view on taxation and business organization, as well as process outsourcing. His propensity for relationships has also led him to specialize in issues about the taxation of individuals working in international contexts, assisting private clients, secondees, and sportsmen.
A lecturer and speaker at conferences, courses, and master’s degrees, he is a publicist in both Italian and international trade journals and co-author of the “Handbook of International Taxation.”
He has served as Ibc director for Italy since 2015 and has been a member of the Ibc steering committee of Grant Thornton International Ltd and the Emea Bps regional working group since 2020.
Married and the father of three children, he is passionate about soccer, active and passive, and travel, which he looks forward to being able to resume.
