Mr Tavecchio is a founding partner of the firm of the same name, Tavecchio & Associati, now “top-ranked” in Chambers and partners HNWI. He graduated with honors in Economics and is a certified public accountant; after several years of experience, in 2000, he joined Studio Dr. Guido Severgnini e Associati, of which he became a partner in 2004.
He founded Generale Fiduciaria and Generale Servizi Amministrativi, companies that the listed MutuiOnline group now owns. The latter has more than thirty human resources (including a team dedicated full-time to technology) and assists wealth management operators on more than nine billion euros of assets.
Mr Tavecchio is an expert in wealth planning, assisting private clients in estate, tax, and succession planning, and advising on cross-border issues. He is also a tax and governance advisor to several Italian and international family offices and trustees.
Mr Tavecchio has assisted, in recent years, several families and entrepreneurs in moments of discontinuity of their business, be it a liquidity event or a liquidity crisis, and has participated in several corporate reorganizations or restructuring processes.
From 2011 to 2013, he was an Economic Advisor to the Ministry of Economic Development. In 2015 and 2016, he was a member of the Expert Committee “Taxation and Economic Policy” Presidency of the Council of Ministers. In April 2021, he was appointed as an expert within the Offices of Direct Collaboration of the Minister for Technological Innovation and Digital Transition, Presiding Judge of the Step private client awards 2021-22.
He is married to Francesca, a press officer in the film industry, and has two young children and a dachshund dog. He founded the online newspaper “Linkiesta.it” with some professional and entrepreneurial friends. He enjoys skiing (recently ski mountaineering), has resumed playing tennis, and rides his bike a little, although he increasingly prefers to go to the movies or a good exhibition.
